Tom was about to give up the search when he saw a tall man walking towards him.
Frightened and nervous, Tom thought the tall man must be a robber. He wanted to run
away, but on second thought, he also hoped that maybe the man could give him some
clues on where he could find his wallet. As the tall man came close, he asked Tom what
he was up to. Tom told him that he must have lost his wallet somewhere nearby. Hearing
that, the tall man inquired more about Tom's wallet's details and then took out a wallet.
Tom immediately recognized it and was excited to express his gratitude to the tall man.
After getting his wallet back, Tom went back to his apartment. Walking home, Tom
found the city night as attractive as that of his hometown. The moon seemed to lighten the
sky with stars twinkling there. A dense earthly sweet smell rose from the ground,
enveloping everything within its soft embrace. He thought what he found was not only a
wallet but also his hope and enjoyment for the future life. He realized that one could find
a warm home all around the world as long as people were willing to help each other.
