A19-year-old runner with Down syndrome (唐氏综合症) has become the youngest person
with a learning disability to complete a marathon. Lloyd Martin created history by finishing the
26.2-mile (42 km) course of the London Marathon guided by his mother Ceri Hooper, 54, on
Sunday.
After undergoingsurgeryonbothof hisknees in2021,Martin beganrunning5 kilometersat

After opening up a package, most of us break down the cardboard box and bring it to the
recycling box, but not Josh Gluckstein. This London-based artist uses the material to create
incredible sculptures of wildlife, transforming the brown paper into animals like giraffes, lions,
and gorillas. Most recently, he’s pushed himself to complete his most ambitious project to date—
an8-foottallcardboardcoralreef(珊瑚礁)filledwithover50differentspeciesofanimals.
Gluckstein has been documenting the entire creative process on Instagram and TikTok. From

Accordingto the artist, it “celebrates the wonderandrich biodiversity of ouroceanswhile raising

Created for Homo Faber, a month-long exhibition in Venice that celebrates modern artisans
(手艺人), the sculpture was a creative challenge for Glickstein. In order to create the necessary

His videos give an insight into how he processes the cardboard. We watch as he shapes
individual pieces of coral, which come to life when painted and placed on the reef. Next are the

and the weather conditions that occur on Earth. People are always surprised to learn that

I often get asked how I got interested in weather. Believe it or not, as a teenager, I became
