Dear Peter,
I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to share with you my experience of watching the 19th Asian Games
in Hangzhou, which just concluded on October 8th. It was a truly unforgettable event that left me in awe.
Throughout the short span of just a little over ten days, there were numerous impressive moments that I
witnessed during the Asian Games in Hangzhou. One moment that really stood out for me was when the veteran
table tennis player, Ma Long, displayed his unwavering passion and dedication, leading the Chinese men's team to
victory with a decisive final game. It reminded me that true passion can withstand the test of time.
Furthermore, the relay race in the men’s 4x100m athletics final left a lasting impression on me. The anchor
runner made an incredible comeback, showcasing the tenacity and determination of athletes. Moreover, the
extraordinary friendship between Zhang Yufei and Rikako Ikee, two swimmers from different countries, also

national boundaries.

their talent, hard work, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
Looking ahead, I sincerely hope that both our countries' athletes will continue to create brilliance at the
upcoming Paris Olympic Games next year. I believe that these exceptional athletes, with their skills and
determination, will further inspire us and bring more excitement to the world of sports.
I can't wait to witness the unyielding spirit and remarkable achievements of athletes from around the world,
and I hope you will join me in cheering for our respective teams.
Yours,
Li Bin

Three snakes, whose poison could kill a person in ten minutes, are guarding a star diamond worth nearly six
hundred thousand dollars at a Japanese exhibition of jewels sent from an Indian museum. It would be forbidden to
let these poisonous snakes guard exhibition objects, but it's different this time because the jewels are on show at a
hotel. Exhibition officials said that a person bitten by one of these snakes would need at least 80 ml of a special
medicine to be saved. Medicine was being kept ready at a nearby hospital. The star diamond and other valuable
jewels worth a total of one million dollars are on show behind glass. Hundreds of visitors came to see the special
star diamond and were surprised when they saw the sixty-centimeter long brown guards.
