Dear Mr Ben and my fellow classmates, I’m honoured to share my dream job in this
class meeting themed“Our Future Career.”To be a lawyer is my dream, because I am
convinced that law is the cornerstone of justice and fairness. And I especially admire the wisdom,
logic and sense of responsibility that a lawyer embodies.
In order to achieve my goal, I must spare no efforts to learn Chinese, English and Politics,
laying a solid foundation for my future career. Additionally, I must take part in various speaking
activities to improve my expression and confidence.
With determination and continuous efforts, I believe I can make it some day in the future.

Just then, a beam of light appeared in the dark night. Our hearts raced with
hope as we recognized it was Jack and his dad.“Here we are!”Through the sound of
the rain came Jack’s voice, filled with conern. Holding a flashlight, they rowed their small
boat carefully towards us. The rain seemed to ease a bit when their warm voice echoed
in the air, allowing Jack to navigate us to the end of the lake. Working together, we
rowed steadily to a safe place.On reaching the safe place, we rushed to Jack’s warm wooden house. We thanked
Jack and his dad sincerely from the bottom of our hearts. Words could hardly express
how grateful we were. I bowed to them with tears in my eyes. They just smiled and said
it was what anyone would do. This special day would stay in my memory forever and I
also learned that being kind is noble. Though it was a cold day, the kindness from the
two strangers warmed us within.
