写作一
Dear Tom,
How are you? I’m very glad to tell you how I keep fit.
I love running best, and I run for half an hour every morning. It makes me energetic all day. For food, I eat
lots of vegetables and fruits. They are healthy and delicious. I seldom eat junk food because it’s bad for my health.
Also, I go to bed early and get up early. I think having enough sleep is very important.
What about you? Do you have any good ways to keep healthy?
Yours,
Li Hua
Luckily, the boy smiled at me and went away without getting angry. I felt a wave of shame wash over me. I
realized my response had been uncalled for, especially from someone who was trying to help. As I stood there, I wished
I could take my words back. The bell rang, signaling the start of the first period, and I reluctantly walked into my
classroom, still feeling embarrassed about my earlier reaction.
Unexpectedly, Thompson walked into the same classroom. My heart sank, and I hoped he wouldn’t recognize me
as the rude boy from the hallway. But to my surprise, he walked over and sat down next to me, flashing a friendly smile.
I took a deep breath and decided to change my approach. “Hey, I’m sorry about earlier. I was really nervous,” I said,
trying to sound sincere. “No worries! It’s a big day for all of us. I was nervous too,” he replied. As the class progressed,
I felt the weight of my earlier anxiety lift. Thompson ended up being a great friend, and that first day, which had started
so painfully, turned into a memorable experience filled with laughter and new beginnings.
