Venus is close and similar to Earth. It is often described as the sister of Earth. Scientists have studied Venus
for a long time since 1961. In the past, they thought there was water, plants and animals on Venus. But now they
find that the temperature is so high that there isn’t any water or living things. There are only mountains and
volcanos. The sky on Venus is yellow and orange. It’s because of its thick clouds. Until now, scientists have sent
over 40 machines into space to watch Venus and they hope to learn more about it.
