上海高考阅读真题源头曝光:死磕《纽约时报》等外刊这种50词长句,才是降维打击!

他们一定会告诉你一个公开的秘密：高考阅读理解的语篇，绝大多数改编自《纽约时报》（The New York Times）、《经济学人》（The Economist）、《卫报》（The Guardian）等外刊。命题组专家从这些外刊中挑选文章，进行适当的删减和改写，然后出成高考题。

意味着你平时做的那些“中式英语”阅读题，跟高考真题完全不在一个维度。外刊文章的特点是：观点犀利、背景知识丰富、最重要的是——句子结构极其复杂。

今天，我们就来做个“解剖手术”，硬核拆解一个典型的外刊长难句。

❌ 错误读法：从头逐字翻译，读到后面忘了前面，脑子里一团浆糊。

第一步：找主干（抓树干）

抛开所有逗号、从句和修饰语，找出核心主谓宾。

· 主语：critics（批评家）

· 谓语：argue（争论说，认为）

· 宾语：that引导的宾语从句

· 主句核心：批评家认为……

第二步：识修饰（剪枝叶）找出修饰主干的成分，先放一边。

· While the government... carbon emissions：让步状语从句（尽管政府强调减排承诺）。

· which were introduced... boost industrial output：定语从句，修饰policies（上个月推出且预计刺激工业产出的新政策）。

· they claim to support：省略that的定语从句，修饰goals（他们声称支持的目标）。

第三步：破嵌套（解连环）

在argue后面的宾语从句中，主干是：the new policies will undermine the goals（新政策将破坏目标）。

第四步：理逻辑，重组句意（串珍珠）

把碎片按中文逻辑拼接：· 翻译：尽管政府总说要减排，但批评家认为，那些上个月刚出台、旨在刺激工业产出的新政策，将不可避免地破坏他们自己所声称支持的环境目标。
