第一节
Dear Jack,
I am writing to deliver my heartfelt thanks to you for your timely help during my
visit at the Sydney Opera House. I appreciate your guidance and the time you spent
accompanying me.
I can still remember that I was at a loss what to do next. Then it was you who
offered me valuable advice on how to explore it. With my invitation, you even gladly
agreed to accompany me there. In the following hours, we had so much fun. Your
point of view gave me a new prospective and I gained valuable insights, which made
me have a better knowledge of the opera house.
Thank you again. If I may be of help to you, please let me know. Wish you all the
best.
Yours,
Li Hua

performance, all the audience rose with thunderous applause and cheers. No sooner

(Text 10)
Welcome to our new show, Colorful Animal Kingdom:a program introducing
animals to the young and old. In today's show, I will talk about how to raise bearded
dragons. Bearded dragons originate from the deserts of Australia, and this is one of
several species that survive in that climate. Today, beardies like this one are fed here
in the US. First, you need to have the right supplies: a cage or something like that, a
UV bulb, branches and rocks to climb on and rest on, a food or water dish, and
something to line the bottom of the cage. You can even take them outside three times
a week in the direct sunlight. Then it comes to the dietary needs of a bearded
dragon. They mainly eat insects, vegetables and the leaves of plants. Well, since
bearded dragons traditionally live in dry regions, they obtain most of their water
naturally from what they eat. You have to be sure to feed them plenty of vegetables
that serve as good carriers of water.
