十二、活动报道
活动报道是记叙文的一种，其特点是以事实为依据，所以首先要交代事件或活动的时间、
地点、目的和参与者，然后叙述活动的过程，最后对活动进行评价。报道的应用较为广泛，
实用性强。写作过程中要保证事件的真实性，语言要准确、 简练。具体写作结构如下：
1．开头句：活动的时间、地点和目的
(1)．..(日期) witnessed a．..(活动名称) held in...(地点)，which was aimed at...(目的)
(2)．..(日期)，as scheduled，our school held...(活动名称) themed...(活动主题)，which was
aimed at...(目的)
(3)In order to do sth/Aiming to do sth/Aimed at doing sth/With the aim of doing sth，we held...last
week.为了……，我们上周举办了……
2．中间句：活动的过程及内容
(1)At the beginning of the activity...and then...活动开始时……然后……
(2)Under the circumstances，I found it...to...在这种情况下，我发现做……很……
(3)Then，...drew/caught/attracted my attention.然后，……引起了我的注意。
(4)What came into my sight was...我看到的是……
(5)This activity includes three parts.Firstly，...After that，...Finally，...本次活动包括三个部分。
首先，……之后，……最后，……
3．结尾句：活动的影响和意义
(1)Tired as we were，we all thought that it was quite meaningful to take part in this activity.尽管
我们很累，我们都认为参加这个活动十分有意义。
(2)We had a better understanding about...through the activity.通过这次活动，我们更好地了解
到……
(3)This activity turned out to be a great success.Not only did it...but also it...这次活动是一个巨大
的成功，它不仅……而且……
(4)The activity was of great importance，which provided us with a chance to...这次活动非常重要，它为我们提供了一个……的机会。
(5)It’s such a meaningful activity that students are all looking forward to the next...这是一次很有

June 5th,2023 marked the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day，with the slogan
“Beat Plastic Pollution”．In honor of this occasion，our school organized various activities to
sensitize students about the urgent need to combat plastic pollution and promote sustainable
practices.
The event started with an engaging presentation by environmental experts，who highlighted
the detrimental impact of plastic and emphasized the importance of reducing，reusing，and
recycling plastic.Then a plastic collection drive was held so as to encourage everyone to bring in
their plastic waste for proper disposal.Additionally ，students participated in a postermaking
competition，creating thoughtprovoking artworks that showcased the importance of sustainable
alternatives.
The response to these activities was overwhelming.It is through such collective efforts that we
can hope to “Beat Plastic Pollution” and create a cleaner，healthier environment for future
generations.
