五、道歉信
道歉信通常是在因自己的过失或疏忽给别人带来了麻烦或损失并发觉的情况下，为了向
对方表示歉意而写的信件。具体写作结构如下：
1．开头句
(1)I am writing to apologize/say sorry for...我写这封信是为……向你致歉。
(2)I am really sorry but I have no choice but to...我真的很抱歉，但我别无选择，只能……
(3)I am indeed very sorry for what I said/did，but please believe I had no intention to...对于我说
的话/做的事，我确实感到很抱歉。但请相信，我并非故意要……
(4)I apologize sincerely for what I said that day.I didn’t mean to hurt you.我诚挚地为那天我说
的话向你道歉。我不是有意伤害你的。
(5)I am writing to express/convey my sincere apologies to you.我写信向你表达我诚挚的歉意。
2．中间句
(1)I feel awfully sorry about it and want you to know what happened.为此我感到非常抱歉，想让
你知道实情。
(2)The reason why I fail to...is that...我未能……的原因是……
(3)I am not able to...due to the fact that...我不能……是由于……
(4)It’s because of...that I．..正是因为……我才……
(5)Anyhow，I sincerely hope that we can fix another time for...Will you be available this Sunday
morning？无论如何，我真诚地希望我们可以为……再定一个时间。请问你这个星期天上午
有空吗？
3．结尾句
(1)Once again，I’m sorry for any inconvenience I caused.对于我造成的任何不便我再次表示
歉意。
(2)I apologize again for any inconvenience or trouble caused by me/my carelessness.I promise that
such a thing will never happen again.再次为我/我的粗心带来的不便或麻烦表示歉意，我承诺这样的事情不会再发生。
(3)I sincerely hope you can understand my situation/think in my position and accept my apology.
我真心希望你能理解我的处境/站在我的立场考虑，并接受我的道歉。
