互联网对中国经济来讲犹如另外一场改革开放，如今互联网产业已经成为中国经济增长
的主要驱动力量，成为连接科技发展与经济发展的重要桥梁。发展网络经济既可以推动生产，
又可以拉动消费。它使生产与消费之间的联系更为直接，减少大量的中间环节，从而极大地
降低了成本，提高了经济运行效率。毋庸置疑，互联网将继续对中国经济产生深远的影响。
一、理清时态
本文时态属于历时性时态，是对互联网这个产业进行的历时性描述。
判断过程：
1. 直接找信号词，如“如今…已经”，“降低了”，“提高了”——现在完成时，
“将继续”——一般将来时。
2. 其余句子是否为表述一般事实或经常性动作，采用一般现在时。
二、合理断并
本文题材为经济类，且句子较长，结构较复杂。在考试过程中，不要因为第一感觉就
将此类文章“判死刑”。当遇到翻译难题时，有人交空白卷，有人抄袭试卷阅读部分，还有人
用中文拼音“翻译”…这些都是完全不得分的。但翻译的分值又不容小觑，这时需谨记一个重
要原则——“化繁为简”！对于此篇文章，还可进行更为细致的划分。

三、找准主干，梳理枝叶

【解析】“serving”现在分词引导状语补充说明，“serve as”担任…，充当…；起…的作用。

3. 发展网络经济既可以推动生产，又可以拉动消费。
【参考译文】Developing network-based economy can not only promote production, but also
stimulate consumption.
4. 它使生产与消费之间的联系更为直接，
【参考译文1】It helps to establish more direct links between production and consumption.
【解析】“help to do”——“帮助…”；“establish link between…and…”——“建立…与…之间的
联系”。
【参考译文2】It makes the links between production and consumption more direct.
5. 减少大量的中间环节，从而极大地降低了成本，提高了经济运行效率。
【参考译文1】Thanks to fewer intermediate links, the costs have been reduced and the economic
efficiency has been improved.
【解析】原句的三个短句都是无主句，先分析原文三个短句之间的逻辑关系，将其补充完整，
变为“由于中间环节被大量减少了，因此成本被极大地降低了，经济运行效率被提高了。”
【参考译文2】It has greatly reduced the intermediate links. In that way, the costs have been
reduced and the economic efficiency has been improved.
6. 毋庸置疑，互联网将继续对中国经济产生深远的影响。
【参考译文1】There is no doubt that the Internet will continue to have a profound impact on
China’s economy.【解析】“毋庸置疑”除了“there is no doubt that”，还可以用“beyond all doubt”; “It goes without
saying that…”; “It is indisputable that…”; “There is no room for doubt that...”。
另外，“产生深远的影响”除了“have a profound impact on”，还可以用“have far-reaching impact
(effect) on”。

For Chinese economy, the Internet is another form of “reform and open up”. Nowadays, it
has already become the main driver for China’s economic growth, serving as an important bridge
between technological development and economic development. Developing network-based
economy can not only promote production, but also stimulate consumption. It helps to establish
more direct links between production and consumption. Thanks to fewer intermediate links, the
costs have been reduced and the economic efficiency has been improved. There is no doubt that
the Internet will continue to have a profound impact on China’s economy.
