T: Prepare the words of this class. Find new words in the table in the learning objectives of
vocabulary on P76, you can read these words according to the phonetic spelling, recording and
you can also ask others. And memorize these words; check each other in the group in class.

Step4. Listening practice
Section B 1b,1c Listen to the tape, finish the following tasks.(学生单独完成)
1）Listening for the general idea听取大意
(1b) Listen. Look at the list in 1a. Write A before each thing the soccer agent talksabout and P before each thing Michael’s parents talk about.

2）Listening for the specific ideas听取细节.

Step6. Inquiry into knowledge by the group cooperation.
①travel around the world=travel all over the world 环游世界
②famous:形容词“著名的、出名的”。
be famous for…“因····而出名” be famous as…“作为···而出名”
（举例）Lu Xun is famous for his works. 鲁迅因其作品而出名。
Zhang Ziyi is famous as an actress. 章子怡作为一名女演员而出名。
③join the Lions 加入雄狮队
join: 参加，加入“政党、团体、组织”，强调成为其中的一员。
join in ：参加某种活动
take part in : “参加”（会议、比赛、活动等）（举例）He joined the English club last year. 他去年加入了英语俱乐部。
She took part in the Olympic Games when she was 14。
④I think you should go to college.我认为你应该去上大学。
should: 情态动词，“应该”，其后跟动词原形，表示义务和责任。
否定句：在should 后加not,缩写为shouldn’t.
一般疑问句：把should 提前放放句首。
Step7.The end-of class test 当堂检测
根据汉语提示完成句子。

1亮点：
本节课我通过活动自然而然的引入学习内容，给出句子后让学生自己分析句子的共同点，自
己得出结论而不是教师填压给的，培养学生的观察、总结能力，特别是小组合作探究掀起了
本课的高潮，课后活动全体学生都动了起来，既巩固了所学知识，又训练了学生运用所学做
事的能力。
不足：
本节课容量较大，有多个听力内容，因此时间要安排得当，否则会造成前松后紧。
