82亿美元!李飞飞卖公司,AI下一站是“空间智能”?
一、收购消息 | The Deal
2026年9月28日，AMD宣布以约82亿美元的全股票交易收购李飞飞创办的AI公司World Labs。
交易完成后，李飞飞将出任AMD执行副总裁兼首席科学家，向董事长兼CEO苏姿丰汇报。
On September 28, 2026, AMD announced it would acquire World Labs, the AI lab founded by Fei-Fei Li, in an all-stock deal valued at about $8.2 billion.
Once the deal closes, Li will become AMD's Executive Vice President and Chief Scientist, reporting to Chair and CEO Lisa Su.
二、从成都到普林斯顿 | From Chengdu to Princeton
李飞飞1976年生于北京，在四川成都长大，16岁随家人移民美国新泽西。语言不通，家境拮据，全家靠开干洗店维生，她一边打工一边读书，后凭奖学金进入普林斯顿大学学习物理，2005年在加州理工学院取得电气工程博士学位。
Li was born in Beijing in 1976 and grew up in Chengdu. At 16 she emigrated with her family to New Jersey.
Facing a language barrier and tight finances, the family ran a dry-cleaning shop, and she worked while studying.
She later entered Princeton on scholarship to study physics, and earned her PhD in electrical engineering at Caltech in 2005.
三、ImageNet：点燃深度学习 | ImageNet and the Deep Learning Boom
2006年前后，她提出一个当时并不被看好的想法：让机器学会“看”，关键不是更聪明的算法，而是海量数据。她带领团队构建了包含上千万张标注图像的ImageNet。
2012年，AlexNet在ImageNet挑战赛上大幅领先对手，深度学习由此爆发。她因此被称为“AI教母”。
Around 2006, she pursued an unpopular idea: teaching machines to "see" depends less on cleverer algorithms than on massive data. Her team built ImageNet, with over ten million labeled images.
In 2012, AlexNet won the ImageNet challenge by a wide margin, igniting the deep learning boom. This earned her the title "Godmother of AI."
四、学界、产业与社会责任 | Academia, Industry and Social Impact
她曾任斯坦福人工智能实验室主任，2017至2018年担任谷歌云AI/机器学习首席科学家，2019年共同创办斯坦福以人为本人工智能研究院（HAI）。
她还共同创办公益组织AI4ALL，帮助女性和少数族裔青少年进入AI领域，并于2023年出版回忆录《我看见的世界》。
She directed the Stanford AI Lab, served as Chief Scientist of AI/ML at Google Cloud in 2017–2018, and co-founded Stanford's Institute for Human-Centered AI (HAI) in 2019.
She also co-founded the nonprofit AI4ALL, which opens AI pathways for girls and underrepresented youth, and published her memoir The Worlds I See in 2023.

五、World Labs与空间智能 | World Labs and Spatial Intelligence
2024年9月，李飞飞为World Labs融资2.3亿美元。公司的基础模型能够感知、生成并与三维世界交互。其Marble模型可根据文字或图片生成3D世界。
2026年2月，公司再获10亿美元融资，投资方包括AMD、英伟达和Autodesk。她认为，空间智能将带来AR/VR、机器人等新应用。
TED演讲
In September 2024, Li raised $230 million to launch World Labs. Its foundation models can perceive, generate and interact with the 3D world, and its Marble model creates 3D worlds from text or images.
In February 2026 the company raised another $1 billion from investors including AMD, Nvidia and Autodesk. Li argues spatial intelligence will power AR/VR, robotics and more.
