Dear teachers and my fellow students,
Good morning. I am Li Hua. Much honored to deliver a speech on behalf of senior three students here, I
would like to share my humble opinions on how to better adapt to senior three life.
It is certain that the coming year is laden with difficulties and challenges. With in total six major subjects to
work on, chances are that we will frequently feel a shortage of time. Besides, the highly intense study life is
likely to cause stress and anxiety, which leads to low efficiency and even health problems.
Faced with these possible obstacles, we need a detailed study schedule to maximize our efficiency.
Meanwhile, it’s necessary to occasionally take off the burden, get enough exercise and relax.
I’m now determined to reach for the stars and firmly believe that as long as we are mentally and physically
prepared, we can manage senior three life perfectly.

Text10：W: It’s easy for parents to get worried about their kids being left behind. But the truth is, two-year-olds don’t need
a computer. Early-childhood experts agree that two-year-olds need experience in the real first. At about three and a half,
most children can learn to handle the mouse. At this age, kids may not need a computer, but they’ll enjoy it. And they’ll
learn from it, often in unforeseen ways. Judy Salpeter, San Francisco, California, editor of Technology and Learning,
remembers that when her son was three, he loved a paint-box program that allowed him to position stamps of little figures
on the screen. One day, she overheard him saying, “I’ll put all these here because they’re food, and all these here because
they’re animals.” Although the software hadn’t been designed to teach classification, it allowed him to experiment
with that idea himself. If you don’t have a computer by the time your child goes to school, he’ll form his first impressions
of computers in the classroom. It’s OK for them to learn the computer at school. But if they had used it at home, they’ll feel
smarter and it’s easier for them to succeed in their studies. By third or fourth grade, however, students may be at a
definite disadvantage in both writing and research if they don’t have at-home access tow a rd processing programs .
