German.
W:What are they asking for?
M:Well,that’s what it says.A university degree and three or four years’ experience as a translator.They also say the
person should have a lively mind, effective communication skills and the ability to work individually or as part
of the team.
W:Oh,by the way,what about salary? I just hope it isn’t lower than what I get now.
M:It’s said that it depends on the applicant’s education and experience.In addition,the basic salary,there is a list of
extra benefits.
W:Hey,this isn’t bad.I really want the job.

W:My husband,Bob,is a born shopper.He loves to look at things and to touch them.He likes to compare prices
between the same items in different stores.He would never think about buying anything without looking around
in several stores.He would rather travel to the other end of the city to buy a T-shirt just for saving five cents.On
the other hand,I am not a shopper at all.I regard shopping as a boring and unpleasant affair.If I like something
and can afford it,I go to the store directly and buy it immediately.I never waste a lot of time looking around for
a good sale or a better deal.Bob is very dissatisfied with my attitude.Bargains don’t interest me at all.Needless
to say,my husband and I never go shopping together. The experience would be too painful for both of us.When
it comes to shopping,we go our separate ways.
