M:Hello! Greetings from the future! My name’s Mekanika and I live in the year 3044.Many years ago,because
there were too many people and too much pollution on the earth,the only way to keep the planet from dying
was to send people into space.My family was one of the chosen ones.About one third of the earth’s population
was left back home,and the rest of us went into space.We’re now living in a new city on the planet Mars and we
still keep in touch with the people on the earth and some of us go back for cleaning up the planet.Every
morning,I have to get up at 2 o’clock.That probably sounds very strange to you,but you see,we have a different
time system here.I eat breakfast with my family before I go to school.The meals here are different from yours:
we eat pills and drink juice.At 3:30 I catch the school spaceship and fly to class.We don’t have schools and
classrooms.We meet our learning guides in different places and solve problems together.
