M: Where are you working now, Jennifer? Still in the hospital?
W: No, I left the hospital and I refused the job at the drugstore. I’m working as a teacher in
a medical college now.

ideas for some meals we can try out for dinner.
M: Well, that sounds good. So what’s on your list?
W: Let’s see. We’ve got some meat at home already, but we need something for a salad. We
need some tomatoes, carrots and green onions.
M: Sounds very healthy.
W: The apples look really good today. Let’s pick up some, too. Plus we need to get some
bananas. Would you like some milk or cheese?
M. No, they are not my taste.
W: Then can you get a box of ice cream?
M: Sure, I love ice cream best.
W: I think that’s everything we need. Let’s go home and cook dinner.
Text 9W: Dad, don’t wait for me for dinner tomorrow. I’ll go to attend a party.
M: Is someone having her birthday?
W: No, Jenny is throwing a party at her house in Hill Peak this Friday. You know she is
moving to New York next week.
M: I see. The closing time of the subway in that area is pretty early. Do you need me to pick
you up when the party is done.
W: Or maybe you can let me drive your car?
M: No, you just got your license. It’s not safe.
W: Oh, come on. Fine, I’ll let you know when it’s over. By the way, what gift should I bring
for Jenny?

M: What is it like to travel in space? If you have ever watched space movies, you may
knows one thing about it. Aurora Station is the world’s first space hotel. The US company
Orion Span built the hotel. The hotel is around 12 feet wide and 35 feet long. It is going to
welcome its first guests soon. It will fly 320 kilometers above the Earth. It can hold six people
at a time. Two of them will be workers. They maybe former NASA astronauts. Each trip
aboard the station will last for 12 days. Guests there will be able to do many interesting
things. For example, they will see around 16 sunrises and sunsets every 24 hours. They can
take part in research experiments such as growing food in space. Later, they can bring the
food back to the Earth. These are the same things as astronauts usually do. Guests can also
share what they see and hear with others on the Earth. They can have a video chat using a
high-speed Internet connection. But each guest will have to pay at least $9.5 million. That’s
really a large amount of money.
