副副词词
副词通常用来修饰动词、形容词或副词,但有几类副词也可以修饰名词。
修辞原则:
(1)修饰语和它所修饰的对象应尽量接近。
(2)修饰语应避免有两个以上可能修饰的对象。
修修饰饰动动词词专专用用的的副副词词
(1)表示方法状态的副词,用于修饰动作“是怎么做的”,所以是修饰动词专用的修饰语。
[1] I waited for my wife. [patiently]
[2] He stayed single. [reluctantly]
[3] He greeted the girl. [warmly]
He greeted the girl standing by the bar.
[4] He asked the girl a question. [politely]
[5] The girl considered herself an attractive woman. [proudly]
修修饰饰动动词词专专用用的的副副词词
(2)表示频率的副词,有always, frequently, usually, often, seldom, hardly, never等,用
于修饰动作发生的频率,是修饰动词专用的副词。
[1] I get up very early. [usually]
[2] I have seen this teacher before. [never]
修修饰饰四四大大词词性性的的副副词词
(1)强调范围的副词,用于将叙述范围缩小到明确的焦点上,排除其他可能性,也可以说是
“聚焦”的功能。
[1] I watched the video yesterday. [only]
修修饰饰四四大大词词性性的的副副词词
(2)加强语气的副词,和强调范围的副词一样,也是修饰的对象不拘,四大词性都可以使用,
所以它的位置也没有任何弹性,只能放在修饰对象的前面。
[1] The teacher is absolutely a genius!
[2] I badly need to take this course.
[3] The course is extremely useful.
[4] My English improves amazingly fast.

(3)程度副词,又是一种修饰对象不拘、四大词性都可以使用的副词 。所以,它的位置同样没
有弹性,只能放在修饰对象的前面。
[1] I barely need to take this course.
[2] The course is fairly useful.
[3] My English improves rather fast.
连连接接句句子子的的副副词词
连接句子的副词的意思和并列连词(and, or, but)类似,但是缺乏并列连词的语法功能。也就
是说,虽然连接句子的副词可以用来表示前后两个从句之间的逻辑关系,但是不能用它来连接两个从句,因为它没有连词的功能。若要用连接句子的副词连接两个从句,必须加上适当
的标点符号,例如用分号把两个从句分开,或者用句号断开变成两句话。

[1] I know this teacher; besides, the course is extremely useful. (and)
[2] Consequently, I badly need to take this course. (so)
[3] He is short; however, he plays basketball well. (but)
分分离离副副词词
这类副词原本属于另一个从句,是该从句中的一个方法状态副词。
[1] Theoretically, the course should be useful.
[2] Theoretically speaking, the course should be useful.
[3] If we are speaking theoretically, the course should be useful.
介介副副词词
所谓介副词,就是一些看起来像介词,后面却不加宾语、直接拿来当副词使用的词。
[1] The screen is on.
[2] Sit down please.
[3] Turn on the screen please.
时时间间副副词词与与地地点点副副词词
[1] The football game tomorrow is going to be exciting.
[2] All the people here are my students.
[3] I had lunch there yesterday.
[4] The football game is tomorrow.
[5] The detective is here. Something's up.
