Unit9 Can you come to my party ?
Teaching and Learning Goals :
Learn the new words of Unit 9. To cultivate students' self-study ability. After learning
, Ss can read the new words and remember the most words of Unit9. Then Ss can
understand the story by themselves
Teaching and learning steps
Step 1:Try to read the new words of Unit 9 by themselves.
1、First, ask Ss to read the new words of Unit 9 by themselves. Find out the words
they can’t read and circle them
(设计意图:圈出不会读的单词,巩固优等生识读的正确率,提高中下等学生的
认读能力,为下一步学习做好准备)
2、Then ask Ss to try to read the words what they have circled according to the
phonetic symbols. Discuss some words they can’t read.
(设计意图:小组讨论如何根据音标读单词,旨在培养根据音标识读单词的能
力,人人参与,兵教兵,兵练兵,合作探究)
3、 Play the tape ! Ss listen and repeat ! Correct their pronunciations.
(设计意图:纠正发音,核对更正,确保认读所有单词)
4、 At last. Ask Ss to read after the tape again. Master all the pronunciations.Then
the teacher check (. 设计意图:教师可抽查检测,学生可领读、齐读、个别读、
了解认读情况,掌握学生学情,为进行下一步教学做到有的放矢).
Step 2 : Learn to remember words .
Make a competition in groups! Divide the new words into four forms to grasp. Ask Ss
to try their best to remember new words of unit9.
一. Remember the words by looking at pictures on the screen

1. Show pictures to teach new words on the screen : exam、flu、weekday、invitation、
preparation、glue、housewarming、opening、concert、headmaster、event、guest、
calendar、daytime
Give students the appropriate time to remember words, can read and write, They can
stand up quickly to answer and spell.

投入。教师可以实行小组加分制,快速抢答且回答正确的小组加分)
2. Go on Showing pictures to teach new words: prepare、hang、delete、print、catch、
invite、accept、refuse
(设计意图:趁热打铁,继续利用多媒体并结合课本有关句子进行个别重点

Step 3: Consolidation of words
1.Give Ss the right time to memorize the words according to different forms
first .They can read and write by looking at the books.
(设计意图:识记单词是一个由浅入深、循序渐进、再循环的过程,给予学生消化
整理的时间,为下一步的学习打下夯实的基础)
2.Try to dictate all the words according to the guide books by themselves. They can
dictate on their exercise books first. Underline the words they haven’t grasped in theguild books.
(设计意图:借助助学中单词的当堂检测。学生可以先自查掌握情况,能针对不会
的单词进行再次巩固达标。为下一步老师的检测做好准备)。
3.check all the words
(设计意图:充分利用助学中单词的当堂检测。教师可先批阅组长的,组长再批阅
组员的,最后整理识记错误单词,书写工整,正确的小组进行加分,错误少的口
头表扬,错误多的不要气馁,再接再厉)
Step 4 编故事学单词

Step 5 当堂检测:
根据句意和首字母或汉语意思将句子补充完整。

教学反思:
亮点:本单元单词量较多,教师通过图片展示进行12个名词单词的学习,借
助图片举例句进行5个单词的学习,通过完成表格进行10个动词过
去式的学习,随后根据意思搭配完成6个短语的学习,最后通过自主
学习完成7个重点单词的学习。这四个环节承承递进,打破传统死读
死背单词的模式,激发学生记单词的积极性,实行小组比赛加分制,
学生快速抢答识读单词情绪高。
不足:部分单词用法并没有全面展示,甚至个别用法没有涉及和讲解。个别
单词的学习没有完善的多媒体课件。
使用建议:由浅入深、循序渐进,夯实基础、稳扎稳打、步步为赢。不抛弃、
不放弃。多激励、少怒斥。多表扬、少打击。
