A Crow Drinking Water

A Thirsty Crow A crow felt terribly thirsty one day. It flew here and there in search of water. After searching for quite a long time, it spotted a bottle with some water inside. Full of joy, the crow landed right beside the bottle.

However, the neck of the bottle was too narrow. The crow could not get to the water with its beak. It made an attempt to knock the bottle over, yet the bottle was far too heavy to fall.

Suddenly, some little stones caught its eyes. A good idea came to the crow. It picked up one small stone after another and dropped them into the bottle. Each time a stone went in, the water level climbed slightly. The crow kept throwing stones inside the bottle. Little by little, the water rose higher and higher.

At last, the water got to the bottle’s opening. The crow drank the water with great delight and was not thirsty any more.

The story tells us a meaningful lesson: whenever we run into difficulties, we ought to think carefully and make good use of our minds. There is always a solution if we try our best.

乌鸦喝水

这个故事告诉我们一个很有意义的道理：每当遇到困境，我们应当认真思考，多动脑筋。只要尽力，总能找到解决问题的办法。
