应用文 (满分 15分)
Dear Peter,
I’ve noticed a substantial increase in the assignment for our English class. While I understand the
intention to solidify our understanding, I’m concerned it might affect our abilities to balance English and
theother subjects.
Could I suggest an adjustment in the quantity or the frequency of our assignments? It would help
maintain a more balanced academic workload, improving both the depth of knowledge in our subject and
acomprehensive learning experience across all subjects.
Thank you forconsidering my suggestion.Yourguidance and support would be greatly appreciated.
Yourssincerely,
Li Hua

M: Good morning, everyone. Welcome to your first weekend painting class. My name is Jack and I will
be your teacher for thenext 10weeks. I knowyou arefromall walks oflife, andformost ofyou this is
your first-time painting or even your first-time doing anything artistic. Don’t worry. This course is
designed to teach you the basics of drawing and painting. In the first two weeks, you will get familiar
with some very important drawing techniques as well as understand how to use the equipment. On week
three, I will start giving you weekly homework so you can improve outside of these classes. It’s entirely
your choice to complete the homework or not. It is not a course requirement, but obviously, it will really
help you progress. Afterweek six, you have to submit a final piece of work. This artwork will require a
lot of experimentation. After the 10th week, we will hold an exhibition at a local gallery, which both
you andyourfamily arewelcome toattend.
