The Jolly’s Camping Vacation
Mr. Jolly was very excited. He was taking his family to his favorite

camping spot . Mrs. Jolly helped pack the car. But
when it was time to leave, it started to rain. “It’s just a short shower. Don’t
worry, it won’t last long,” said Mr. Jolly. But it wasn’t. The rain fell, heavy
and hard. Mr. Jolly drove extra carefully on the wet roads. The trip was
taking longer than planned.
When they finally reached the camping spot, it was empty. “Excellent!
We have it all to ourselves,” said Mr. Jolly. He picked a place for the tent

. The boys went off to play football on the beach. Mr. and Mrs.

But a sudden wind whipped the tent out of Mrs. Jolly’s hands.

to get out of the wind. When the wind died down, it was almost dark.

pack up and go to one of MY favorite camping spots?” The Jollys drove to

a large, fancy hotel and booked a room. Mrs. Jolly set up the
tent for the boys on the floor. Then, she ordered a huge dinner from the
hotel restaurant. “We like indoor camping!” said the boys. “Yes, it does
