Where are you going next week? What are you going to do? When are you going? 2.Presentation and Practice (1)Let's listen and answer: What is Zoom going to do tomorrow? Ss: Zoom is going to learn how to swim. (2)Watch the video and try to answer: How is zoom learning to swim? Ss: Zoom is watching TV and learning to swim. Think: Is it a good idea? Can Zoom learn to swim by this way? (3)Look at the picture and guess: Where are they going? How do you know?之江汇教育广场 Ss: Maybe they are going to the swimming pool. Because Zoom is holding a swimming ring. (4)Practice: listen and number the pictures. (5)Watch the video and enjoy the whole story. Answer these two questions: Who teaches Zoom to swim? What did she say? Ss: Zip teaches Zoom. She said, “Practice and you will learn.” “Just try. This way...This way...” ( Learn the words: practice, this way ) (6)Read and answer: What do you learn in this story? Ss: We should always remember:“learn by doing”. 3. Consolidation and Extension (1) Listen and repeat. (2) Retell the story. Ss: Zoom is going to learn how to swim tomorrow.Zoom is watching TV and learning to swim.Zoom and zip are going to the swimming pool.But zoom is afraid of water.Zip is teaching zoom to swim.
