Two years ago, working full-time from home, Kristin Richardson was overwhelmed by
nonstop work calls, endless housework, and constant demands from her two daughters, until
she reached her breaking point.

A joint research team recently has developed a new electronic skin that is similar to
human skin in durability and sensitivity. The skin or e-skin may play an important role in
next-generation personalized medicine, soft robotics and artificial intelligence.
