Dear Lucy, I’m learning about traditional Chinese festivals. Let me tell you a special one: Tomb-sweeping Day. It mostly falls on the 4th or 5th in April. It’s a festival to remember the dead. On that day, people usually sweep tombs of their family members and national heroes.
Now Tomb-sweeping Day is a public holiday. People like to go outing on this day. In the south of China, people like to eat qingtuan—a kind of sweet green rice ball on that day.
