中国牵头制定全球首个露营标准

China Leads the World's First Camping Standard

Camping is a fun way to spend a holiday. People sleep in tents, campervans or camping houses. Now the world has its first international standard for camping, and China led the work on it.

The standard tells campsites what they should do. Campsites must have clean toilets and safe drinking water. They must keep visitors safe and care for the environment. They must also welcome everyone, including older people and people with disabilities.

Experts from twelve countries worked together for about four years. The new standard will help camping become safer and better all over the world.

South Africa has tested the longest freight train in the world. It is about 7,600 metres long. That is longer than twenty football fields!

The train has 696 freight cars. Electric and diesel engines in different places push and pull the cars together. The train started from a port on the west coast on the 18th. Two days later, it arrived at an iron mine about 860 kilometres away.

The train company says longer trains can carry more ore at one time. The old record was held by Australia since 2001. This will make transport cheaper and better.

In one example, a man lent his smart car to a friend. The car was driving itself when it hit a person. The car's maker had sent a new driving program to the car days before.

The judges said the maker must pay because its system had a problem. The friend must also pay, because he did not take over the wheel when the car asked. The insurance company should pay the injured person first.
