66. The Coming-of-Age Ceremony—an Unforgettable Experience
On May 4th, all the senior Grade 3 students, their parents and teachers took part in the coming-of-age ceremony, which
was held in our school.
Dressed in Hanfu, the traditional Chinese costume, we gathered together in the Art Center of our school for the
ceremony. The ceremony started with a speech delivered by our headmaster. He congratulated us and encouraged us to
pursue our dreams bravely. After that, a student representative expressed our gratitude to our beloved parents and teachers.
Then parents gave us a gift with their best wishes. Finally, we took photos together.
As it was really a memorable moment, I made up my mind to be independent from then on!
