The Scholarly School In My Eyes
When it comes to the scholarly school, I can’t help thinking about a place where students are
motivated to read extensively, explore new ideas and develop critical thinking. It can create an
atmosphere to foster students’ interest in reading and promote their academic excellence so that students
can also broaden their horizons and develop a good habit.
Meant to achieve the goal to be a scholarly school, diverse instructive activities should be initiated,
ranging from reading salons, book fairs to the most scholarly class competition so that students’ interest
in reading will be stimulated. Additionally, decorating the posters and bulletin boards with some
literature masterpieces, together with large categories of books or e-books offered in libraries will make
it possible for students to immerse in a literature atmosphere. Meanwhile, it is worth mentioning that
reading pavilions as well as some specialized lecture halls available are of necessity for students and
distinguished experts to hold some interactive activities.
All these practices can expose students to abundant extracurricular knowledge, hence laying a
foundation for their further career. In this case, a scholarly school will live up to its reputation.
