Embrace Sports, Enjoy Life
With Harbin 2025 Asian Winter Games approaching, it’s an ideal moment to emphasize the advantages of
sports, particularly the benefits they bring to students.
Firstly, regular physical activity is essential for maintaining good physical health, thus enhancing our fitness
and strength. Additionally, sports play a vital role in reducing stress and improving mental health. Furthermore,
sports promote crucial life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and time management.
I urge my fellow students to make sports a routine part of our lives, which can lead to a more balanced and
fulfilling life. Let’s draw inspiration from Harbin 2025 Asian Winter Games and strive to “Embrace Sports, Enjoy
Life.”
He responded in despair, “There are a lot more books here than I expected.” My initial impulse was to
say, “This is your mess. Figure it out yourself.” But instead I said, “Let me see if I can get some help.” Charlie
nodded, appreciating the support. Then, we, together with other helpers, rolled up our sleeves and started
sorting them by genre. Hours passed by as we worked side by side. Slowly but surely, the chaos began to
transform into a perfect fair, and our avoidance of contact into smooth communication. I was surprised that the
book fair was a success and even more surprised that we could actually work well together.
After the book fair was over, I couldn’t stop wondering why Mr. Egan put us together. I approached him,
eager to figure out his intention of this unlikely pairing. However, his reply was quite simple, “I knew that this
would be a great experience for both of you. It wasn’t so much about running the book fair as it was a lesson in
how important it is to communicate and to work alongside others when necessary.” Hearing what he said and
thinking of what happened between Charlie and me, I couldn’t help but smile. Sometimes, the most valuable
lessons are learned amidst the challenges we face and the people we least expect to be our allies.
