六、任务型阅读
请阅读下面这篇文章,根据所提供的信息,回答5个问题,要求所写答案语法正确、语义完整。
My name is Jenny. There are four people in my family—my parents, my brother and I. My family
members have a good relationship because my family has some rules.
Family dinner
My mother makes it a rule that everyone should sit down at the table and have dinner together. I think
this is one of the easiest and most important rules to have as a family. Eating meals together could have a
sense of being back home. What’s more, keeping the habit will add to everyone’s enjoyment.
Night-time routine (常规)
Although it is hard for us to keep this routine at first, it has turned out to be a good habit. After dinner
we usually have a playtime. And 7:00 p.m. is bath time. 7:30 p.m. is time to have some milk. At 7:50 p.m.
my mother reads a story, and then lights go out at 8:00 p.m. This routine makes me wake up early in the
morning and helps me be in a good mood at school.
Cleaning up
Cleaning up is a family matter. After dinner, my brother and I help our parents to clean up the kitchenand clear everything off the table. After this, we are asked to clean up the toys that we were playing with in
the daytime. Then we won’t step on hard or wooden toys when we get up the next morning.
47.Why do Jenny’s family members have a good relationship?
48.Who makes the rule that everyone should sit down at the table and have dinner together?
49.Is it easy for them to keep the night-time routine at first?
50.What do they do at 7:30 p.m. in Jenny’s family?
51.When do Jenny and her brother help their parents to clean up the kitchen?
七、短文填空
阅读下面的短文,在空白处填入适当的内容(不多于3个单词)或括号内单词的正确形式。
Nowadays, we can see some boys and girls who live in a small world of their own. They bury
themselves among books and games. Therefore more and more Chinese 52 (teenager) find that life
is difficult without their parents. They don’t know 53 to do chores because their parents do almost
everything for them at home. This is a big problem.
Alice is 14 years old. One day her parents went away on business for a week, so she had 54
(stay) at home alone for a week. At first, she thought she would be happy because her parents were not in.
She could do everything that she liked. But after one day, on the afternoon of the 55 (two) day,
she felt hungry. “Oh, it’s time to have supper. Where can I get my food?” she said to 56 (her). But
there was nothing left in the fridge, 57 she went to the supermarket. She 58 (run) out
of her money to buy a lot of food. For the next days, she had to borrow money from her friends. Until after
the experience did Alice know the 59 (important) of doing housework.
Many of teenagers are the same as Alice. In my opinion, we should learn to take care of ourselves, like
cooking 60 (proper). What’s more, a student is also a member of a family, everyone should do his
part. We shouldn’t depend 61 our parents too much. I strongly suggest that those who are not used
to doing housework take their responsibility now.
