小作文范文(15):The school sports meet, which took place last Tuesday in the stadium, was a
great success.
The meet started with an opening ceremony, featuring a vibrant march of
students athletes. Energetic crowds cheered for their classmates competing in
more than 10 thrilling events.Among many great performances was LiHua's win in
the 1500- metre running race. Perhaps the biggest cheer of the meet was for the
students when they set a new record.
Thought tired, the participants left with joyful smiles. Many expressed their
love for the event, saying it provided them with an opportunity to relax, build up
their body as well as enhance their friendship.
读后续写范文(25):
David nodded and reached for his wallet. He counted out 32 dollars and handed it to
Michael, who thanked him repeatedly with tears in his eyes. The boy also smiled brightly, his
innocent eyes now filled with pure joy. David patted the boy’s head gently and said, “Hope
you two get home safely.” Then he hurried back to the ticket line, his heart warm despite the
cold waiting area. He didn’t regret his decision—even if it was a trick, he couldn’t bear to
disappoint the boy’s trusting gaze.
As promised, David received a call that night. It was Michael, calling from Boston to
say they had arrived home safely. Michael thanked him again sincerely, adding that he would
transfer the money back the next day. He also mentioned how much the boy had talked about
David on the bus, saying he wanted to “be a kind man like him” when he grew up. David
smiled as he hung up the phone. He realized that a small act of kindness not only helped
others in need but also planted a seed of goodness in a young heart. Sometimes, choosing to
trust and help was the most rewarding thing one could do.

M: People all over the world enjoy sports. Sports helped people keep
healthy and happy, helping them to live longer sports change with the seasons.
People play different games in winter and summer. Games and sports often
grow out of people’s work and everyday activities. The Arabs use horses or
camels in much of their everyday life. They use them in their sports too. Some sports
are so interesting that people everywhere go in for them. Football for example, has
spread around the world.
Swimming as popular in all countries near the sea or those with many rivers.
Some sports or games go back two thousands of years like running or
jumping. Chinese boxing for example, has a very long history. But
