教学过程
Step 1 Lead-in
Let Ss make dialogues by using the information of asking and giving directions in
section A-1.
E.g.:
A: Excuse me, could you please tell me how to get to / where is …?
B: Sure, just …
Step 1 Discussion.
Show Ss some playing pictures and ask Ss about what do they often do with their
friend at the weekend?Step 2 Free talk.
1. Have you ever been to an amusement park?
2. What did you do there?
Step 3 Activity 3a.
Let Ss read a conversation and answer some questions.
Step 4 Activity 3b
Read and underline the questions and statements that ask for information.
Let Ss read and underline the questions and statements that give suggestions.
Step 5 Let Ss find the sentences in 3a with similar meanings to the ones
mentioned below.
Step 6 Guessing game.
Let Ss write down directions from school to 3places in their city, and read them to the
whole class to guess the place.
Homework
Explain the key words and phrases in this section.
