March 22nd is World Water Day. It started in 1993. It not only makes us think about the importance
of water, but also calls on us to save and protect water. The subject of World Water Day in 2018 is
“Nature for Water”. It shows the nature-based solutions to the water problems we face now.
Environmental damage and climate change are driving the water problems we see around the world.
If we ignore the problems, we will make it harder to provide everyone with the clean water we need.
So it’s important to balance the water cycle by planting new forests and restoring wetlands.
