应用文(possible version)
Last week witnessed an activity themed Intangible Cultural Heritages Around Us organized by
our school, which was greeted with tremendous popularity.
In the beginning, students were exposed to the documentaries about intangible cultural heritages,
including paper-cutting, Yingge Dance and Chaozhou Opera, from which they gained a profound
appreciation for the unparalleled beauty of the cultural essence. Later, many artists were invited to
exhibit their craftsmanship and instruct basic techniques to the students. Finally, a seminar was held to
explore more strategies for the preservation of intangible cultural heritages.
The activity was highly spoken of because not only did the students enhance their familiarity with
intangible cultural heritages but also recognize the far-reaching significance of safeguarding and
passing down these invaluable cultural legacies.

Days passed, and the moment finally arrived. Miss Brown asked everyone to bring back the notes
they had received. Students presented their works one by one. Some quotes and stories remained almost
untouched, while a few pictures had minor scribbles. But when Emily’s note was shown, the whole
class gasped. The blank paper was now filled with colorful drawings, heartfelt stories, inspiring quotes,
and funny jokes from different hands. It had truly become a collective masterpiece that integrated
everyone’s creativity and emotions. Miss Brown announced with a bright smile, “Emily’s note has
traveled through the most hands and collected the richest content. She is the winner!”
Emily gathered her courage and walked up to the platform. Her face was blushing, but her eyes
sparkled with exhilaration and pride. “I just thought,” she stammered, “that everyone’s ideas are unique
and valuable. When combined, they can create something far more wonderful than any single piece of
work.” Her words triggered thunderous applause. From then on, Emily was no longer the shy girl
ignored by others. Days that followed witnessed her transformation. Not only did she immerse herself
in interactions with classmates during intervals, but also she always initiated discussions in group
projects. And the “Traveling Note” game became a tradition in the school, reminding everyone of the
power of cooperation and the beauty of shared creativity.
