【答案】 Just as I felt I could no longer hold on, I heard the sound of a helicopter approaching. I waved my
arms weakly praying to be seen. The helicopter circled above, and a rescue diver was lowered from it, and with
practiced precision he reached me. I was lifted into the aircrat, shivering and exhausted, but alive. The medics
immediately wrapped me in blankets and checked me over, providing much-needed first aid as we flew to the
hospital. I kept thinking of Sam and Kyle, hoping they were safe and hadn’t done anything reckless to try to save
me.
Later I learned that it was Sam and Kyle’s calmness and quick thinking that saved my life. As soon as I was
swept into the sea, they didn’t panic. Sam, still holding his phone, quickly called the emergency services. He
accurately described our location and the situation. Meanwhile, Kyle kept an eye on me, shouting words of
encouragement to keep me going. This experience not only tested my survival skills but also strengthened the bond
between us. It was a reminder of the strength found in unity and the importance of never giving up, no matter how
desperate the situation seems.
