语法梳理：一些职业类名词的构成精讲精练 (含答案)
1. 许多职业类名词的构成是有规律的，具体规则如下：
(1) 一般在动词词尾加-er,如:
sing—singer, play—player, teach—teacher, wait—waiter, work—worker;
(2) 在一些以e结尾的动词后直接加-r,如:
write—writer, dance—dancer, drive—driver;
(3) 在一些动词词尾加-or,如:
visit—visitor, invent—inventor, act—actor;
(4) 在一些名词词尾加-ist,如:
art—artist;
(5) 在一些名词后加-man/-woman,如:
post—postman, fire—fireman, police—policeman/policewoman。
2. 拓展如何询问职业和表述职业
如何询问职业
1. What is/are sb.?
人物是第三人称单数时，be动词用is；人物是第二人称或第三人称复数时，be动词用are。如：
What’s the man? 那位男士是做什么的？
What are they? 他们是做什么的？
2. What do/does sb. do?
人物是第三人称单数形式时，助动词用does；人物是第二人称或第三人称复数形式时，助动词用
do。如：
What does his father do? 他的爸爸是做什么的？
3. What’s one’s job?
如：What’s Mr Brown’s job? 布朗先生的职业是什么？
如何表述职业
其句式为“sb.+be动词(am/is/are)+(a/an+)职业名词.”。如：
The woman is an astronaut.
