11. Rethink, Reuse, Recycle!重新思考，重新使用，重新利用！
re-是最常用的前缀之一
它可以加在名词或动词前，构成新的名词或动词
re-表示以下意义：1) 表示“回”或“向后”的意思。e.g. return（回来）recall（回忆，召回）
2) 表示“再”、“重新”、“重复”的意思。
e.g. rethink（再思考）reuse（再运用）restart（重新开始）reread（重读；再读）

比较级+and+比较级 “越来越...”
the+比较级，the+比较级“越...就越...”
三、 单元写作
本单元谈论的话题为“环境保护”，是当今社会的热点问题，也是各类考试作文命
题的热点。环境保护这个话题常涉及的内容有垃圾分类、低碳生活、环境污染、人口问
题、资源保护等。

Dear friends,
Our environment is getting worse and worse. The air in our city is not as fresh as
before. There is a lot of traffic which causes air pollution. There are also many factories
which causes water pollution.
Facing so many serious problems, we should take action to protect our environment.
First, we should plant more trees as far as possible, which can help clean the air and
make our city more beautiful. Second, we should turn off lights to save electricity whenwe leave the room. Last, walk or ride to school instead oftaking a car. This can help
reduce pollution greatly.
All in all, everyone should make an effort to make the earth better.
