Nanjing is an amazing ancient city in eastern China. It is famous for its long history and rich Qinhuai culture.

Purple Mountain stands near the city. The Qinhuai River runs through Nanjing. We can enjoy beautiful views at Xuanwu Lake and Mochou Lake. Tall plane trees line many city streets.

Long ago, Nanjing used to be an important ancient capital. Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Confucius Temple and the old Nanjing City Wall tell us many old stories.

Nanjing salted duck is the most famous local food. We can also find special paper-cut art, Yunjin brocade and tasty tea cakes here.

Today, old narrow alleyways and new tall buildings stand together. Nanjing keeps its traditional beauty as it develops. Lots of visitors come to this city every year to see its beauty.
