India is one of the most popular places to visit in Asia. Thousands of people go on a trip to
India and enjoy themselves every year. There are many things to do and see in India.
Perhaps India’s best-known tourist attraction (观光胜地) is the Taj Mahal, one of the greatest
buildings in the world. It was built between 1631 and 1653. It is world-famous and the most
popular place to visit for travelers in India.
India also has many kinds of wildlife. There are 75 National Parks in India. Its climatic
diversity (气候多样性) makes India home to over 1,000 different kinds of birds and wild animals.
It’s difficult to choose the best time to visit India. Most of India has three seasons: the cool
season from October to February, the hot season from March to June and the rainy season from
mid June to September.
The months from October to March are the most pleasant (舒适地) for most parts of thecountry. The best time to visit Sikkim and the areas of northeastern India is March and August.
The best time to visit the deserts of RaJasthan and the northwestern Indian Himalayan area is
during the rainy season.
