Part I Writing
参考范文：
To increase the likelihood of success, one should set realistic goals and work persistently
towards them. Achieving success is often a long and challenging journey. Setting realistic
goals and working persistently towards them are indispensable parts on the road to success.
Firstly, goals act as roadmaps, guiding our efforts and providing a sense of direction. With
goals, we are filled with hope for the journey ahead and can pluck up courage to continuously
pursue progress and growth. Without goals, we may feel at a loss as to how to live a meaningful
life. Secondly, setting realistic goals is crucial on the way to success. Overly ambitious goals
may lead to frustration, while goals that are too easy may not provide enough motivation.
Therefore, it is essential to set challenging yet achievable objectives. Thirdly, persistence is
the key to success. Persistent effort means working consistently towards your goals, even when
faced with obstacles or strong competitors. In the race between the tortoise and the hare, it was
the tortoise’s persistence that made him the ultimate winner.
In conclusion, by setting realistic goals and working persistently, we can significantly
increase our chances of achieving success.
