Ten minutes to go and I could lock the shop’s door behind me. There were still a few
customers who couldn’t decide what to buy. One lady tested all the lipsticks on the shelf. Her
friend was busy with the sunglasses. They must be tourists with lots of time on their hands. I had a
fake smile glued on my face as I waited behind the counter for them to make up their minds. They
walked out without buying anything. Then it was ten minutes past 5:00. They wasted my time.
Sometimes I wondered if this was really what life was about. Working from 8:00am to
5:00pm, I caught just a glimpse of the sunrise on my way to work every morning. I wished I could
stand on that hill and wait for the sun to rise. It felt like life was slipping through my fingers and

Going home after a day’s work wasn’t much relief. At home, a family was waiting for my
attention. While preparing dinner, I put the laundry in the washing machine and took care of the
pets. After dinner, it was time to wash the dishes while the rest of the family relaxed with their

My body was tired. My soul was tired. I couldn’t go on like this. It was my own fault that I
didn’t make time for myself. I had spoiled my family over the years by doing everything by
myself. No time for a walk with the dog, no time to just sit on my own and stare at nothing. Why
should I be like this? I needed serious time for myself, time to recharge my batteries and do things

and asked them what they thought would solve the problem. Everyone got a turn to come up with
ideas for how they could help me achieve my goal to have at least one hour per day to do what I

But Ronny thought Henry was a coward and told all the boys that.They laughed at
him a great deal.From then on,they looked down upon Henry and didn’t want to play
with him.
Henry was sad but he wasn’t angry with Ronny for his rude behavior,because he
had learned that true courage was shown most in bearing misunderstanding when it was
not deserved,and that he ought to be afraid of nothing but doing wrong.Thus,he just
ignored the other boys’ laughter and continued to stick to his thought and go to school
and study as well.However,Ronny didn’ t invite Henry to go home with him
anymore.Instead,he had his new friends who also thought Henry was a coward.Every day
after school,they didn’t go home directly but went to the river or somewhere to play
