9.Readandwrite.(Trytoknowmoreideasaboutstudents’uniforms.)
Most middle school students need to wear school uniforms at school every day. Do they

ChengYuan: Wewear uniforms from Monday to Friday and I think our uniforms are great.
Boyswearwhiteshirtsanddarkbluetrouserswhilegirlswearwhiteblousesandblueskirts.They
make us look smart. The uniforms have a logo with our grades and classes. Everyone wears the
same clothes. We needn’t think about what to wear every morning. The teachers can easily tell
what class we are in from the logo on our clothes. This needs us to behave well outside the
classroom.SoIthinkit’sgoodtowearuniforms.
Fang Hua: In our school,we wear uniforms every day. We have different uniforms in
different seasons. Mum says I look nice in them, but I don’t think so. I don’t like the colours of
our uniforms—always white and dark blue. I like pink! And everyone looks the same. There are
twinsinmyclass.Ican’ttellwhoiswhointhesameclothes.Also,ouruniformsfeelsohard,soI

Liu Tao: We only have to wear uniforms on Monday. I don’t think it’s a good idea to wear
uniformseveryday.Thestylesareoutoffashion.Andtheyareoftennottherightsizes.
