AI in SAP Delivery: From Productivity Tool to Workflow Transformation
人工智能在支持SAP项目交付方面的能力正日益增强。它开始更像一个同事,在日常活动中为顾问提供支持。根据我在SAP CS/PM项目中使用人工智能的经验,人工智能不再仅仅提高个人生产力,还能提升交付速度、一致性和整体项目绩效。
AI is becoming increasingly capable in supporting SAP project delivery. It is starting to function more like a co-worker, supporting consultants across daily activities. Based on my experience using AI in SAP CS/PM project, AI is no longer only improving individual productivity but also enhancing delivery speed, consistency, and overall project performance.
在典型的SAP项目中,交付遵循结构化流程:需求收集、SAP解决方案设计、文档编制、ABAP开发、配置、测试以及问题解决。在实践中,人工智能可应用于该流程的多个阶段。通过将人工智能集成到工作流中,顾问们可以在每个阶段以结构化的基线为起点,而非从零开始。
In a typical SAP project, delivery follows a structured process: requirements gathering, SAP solution design, documentation, ABAP development, configuration, testing, and issue resolution. In practice, AI can be applied across multiple stages of this process. With AI integrated into the workflow, consultants can begin each stage with a structured baseline instead of starting from scratch.
在需求收集会议期间,人工智能可以生成结构化的会议记录,让顾问能够专注于会议讨论,并轻松回顾会议结果。
During requirements gathering meetings, AI can generate structured meeting notes, allowing consultants to focus on meeting discussions and easily review the meeting results.

在文档编制方面,AI可以生成各类文档的行业标准结构,例如用户验收测试(UAT)文档、功能规格说明书和用户手册。这不仅减少了重复任务所花费的时间,还提高了交付成果的一致性。
In documentation, AI can generate industry-standard structures of various documents like UAT documents, functional specifications, and user manuals. This reduces time spent on repetitive tasks while improving consistency across deliverables.

在解决方案设计中,人工智能可以通过提出SAP顾问可能遗漏的潜在SAP解决方案、必要配置和业务案例来支持创意构思。
In solution design, AI can support brainstorming ideas by suggesting possible SAP solutions, necessary configurations, and business cases that SAP consultants might have missed.

AI还能增强ABAP开发。SAP功能顾问可以利用AI构建更清晰的逻辑说明,从而改善与ABAP顾问的协作。此外,AI使SAP功能顾问能够更好地理解ABAP顾问编写的ABAP代码,让他们在需要时能更独立地分析问题。
AI also strengthens ABAP development. SAP functional consultants can use AI to structure clearer logic explanations, improving alignment with ABAP consultants. In addition, AI enables SAP functional consultants to better understand ABAP code written by the ABAP consultant, allowing them to analyze issues more independently when needed.

在技术层面,开发人员可以使用AI Copilot来帮助编写更简洁高效的ABAP代码,从而提升代码质量和可维护性。
On the technical side, developers can use AI Copilot to help write cleaner and more efficient ABAP code, improving code quality and maintainability.
在全球SAP项目中,团队和客户分布在不同国家,人工智能有助于减少语言障碍。人工智能可以帮助将解释改写为清晰且适合业务场景的语言,减少沟通误解。它还能翻译完整的文档。
In global SAP projects, where teams and clients operate across different countries, AI helps reduce language barriers. AI can help rewrite explanations into clear and business-friendly language, reducing miscommunication. It can also translate full documents.

但是,所有人工智能生成的输出都必须经过验证,因为人工智能无法完全理解业务背景或系统依赖关系。它在总结和组织信息等结构化任务中表现最佳。在业务流程设计等复杂的、依赖上下文的领域,其效果则较差。跨系统解决方案以及决策制定。这些都需要SAP顾问的经验和判断力。因此,SAP顾问的角色正在不断演变。顾问们不再主要专注于手工工作,而是越来越多地负责审查人工智能的输出质量并提供必要的指导。
However, all AI-generated outputs must be validated, as AI does not fully understand business context or system dependencies. It performs best in structured tasks such as summarizing and organizing information. It is less effective in complex, context-driven areas such as business process design, cross-system solutions, and decision-making. These require the experience and judgment of SAP consultants. As a result, the role of the SAP consultant is evolving. Instead of focusing mainly on manual work, consultants are increasingly responsible for reviewing AI’s output quality and providing the necessary guidance.
在组织层面,人工智能可以帮助团队标准化工作流程、减少返工并缩短项目交付时间。这为在不增加更多资源的情况下提高成本效率和提升交付能力创造了机会。随着时间的推移,这将影响SAP交付团队的结构以及项目的规划方式。
At an organizational level, AI can help teams standardize workflow, reduce rework, and shorten project delivery timelines. This creates an opportunity to improve cost efficiency and increase delivery capacity without adding more resources. Over time, this will influence how SAP delivery teams are structured and how projects are planned.
