For those offices that I visited, it is really fun to meet with colleagues in different countries and learn local payment landscape across the globe:
1. Global HQ, Purchase
It is a beautiful place in the woods far from Manhattan. It is famous for the architecture designed by Master I.M.Pei. It is also the place full of smart people with globalization vision where I long to be but failed to move (sorry MF, I let you down). Interestingly, it is also the place where I, acting as a friendship ambassadar, brought the Chaiman of x-company to meet President Skih of current company in an effort to 
. Lucky to witness 双雄会.
2. Global O&T HQ, St. Louis
It is also situated in woods and close to Mississippi River and Missouri River. The beauty of the place is not far from an Outlet where you could do relentless shopping and contribute GAV and revenue to NAM (of course I did). Do not forget to bring a contactless card as canteen embraces Tap & Go. Be American and forget QR there! Suprised to see a Ping Pong table there, lol.
3. IMK HQ, London
It is situated in beautiful Canary Wharf and certinly my favorite place given my 6-month short period report line to IMK London. It is the place where I am honored to meet with other regional Merchant & Acceptance leads in meetings and learn from them about other IMK regions like EU, MEA, LAC, etc. Priceless memory and also impressed by a drink called Bloody Mary that boss bought me.
4. EU HQ, Waterloo
It is the place I'd love to see so long due to Emperor Napoleon. It is also the place where consumer presented QR is invented, which follows EMVCo standard and reuses contactless transaction. Smart Idea but China is a different QR animal. Therefore, no more QR meetings take place in Waterloo. I am afraid that my biggest regret is not going to Waterloo to see my respected chip colleagues who are indeed professional. Hope one day I could compensate when dropping by Brussels. It is Napoleon's Waterloo and so is mine..
5. AP HQ, Singapore
It was loacated in Beach Road but where is the beach? It is true that there was beach in the past before reclaim. It is the place where I am honored to meet with other MD leads from other AP mkts in the meeting. This trip catalysted me to explore more Asian countries like Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Myanmar and Sri-Lanka. What delicious satay in SQ cabin and how elegent the crew is!
6. MEA HQ, Dubai
It is inside Dubai Internet City where I stayed 2 years with x-东家 in the next building. Apart from black and white robe, greens can also been seen in DIC like lakes and Arabian date tree. If you are hungry, you could pick up dropped dates to re-energize yourself. It is Free! There are 3 different buildings for MEA office and I was lucky to visit all of them meeting with different functional colleagues during my 3 trips to Dubai. Here is certainly my second hometown!
7. Phillippines office, Makati
It is inside a fashionalbe and good looking buidling in the capital. After the HK hostage tear ticket case, I took a special assignment sponsored by RHQ with the mission to lift XB GDV. I was taken good care of by country manager and warm MD team though the weather in the Phillippines has already been warm enough. The office is close to Green Belt, a big shopping complex where you will definitely love to death and I certainly contributed GAV in return.
8. Vietnam office, HoChiMinh City
It is by the Mekong River and close to Ho Chi Minh Memorial Hall. My abbr is TT and my couterpart in Vietnam is also called TT. But a pity that my HCMC TT happened to be out of town on our appointed day, leaving me drink lonely beer alone at 86F roof bar. Sad sunset on the River in the dusk.
9. Caucasus office, Baku
Compared with other offices, Baku office is new and has only one colleague. In terms of religion and culture, Azebaijan does not belong to Russia Cluster but Turkey Cluster under HGEM Division. Walking on the street, I suddenly found myself back to Turkey where I lived half an year: similar Turkish language, similiar Turk appearane, similar bank name. It occurs to me a lot~
10. Balkan office, Belgrade
Belgrade office is relatively bigger than Baku office, and colleague is also with hospitality. The bitter lemon drink in the pantry is one of the best tasting drink I have ever taken. It is situated in new town and not far from Danube River where the bank swarms swans. Also on way from office to Danube, you will pass by x-China Embassy in Yogoslavia. Kudos to those national hero(ine)s!
