本节课选自英语人教版八年级下册第七单元，本单元是学习
了形容词、副词比较级的基础上,进一步学习最高级。通过学习
地理知识，熟知、练习并掌握最高级。让学生在完成任务的过
程中,运用所学知识进行英语交流,培养运用英语解决实际问题
的能力。既学习了地理知识，又培养学生不畏困难，勇于面对，
挑战自我的精神。

二．说教法
本单元采用任务型教学模式，融汇话题，交际功能和语言结构
What’s the highest mountain in the world? 进而形成循序渐
进的学习程序，学生比较容易接受。
1．Teach English in English : 即新课标倡导的“用英语教英
语”，尽量用英语教学，创造英语课堂良好的听的环境，让学生充
分感知，积极体验，大胆实践，把握用英语交际的机会，鼓励学生
大胆开口说英语。
2． Task-based teaching method突出重点，突破难点：倡导
体验参与，培养自主学习能力,让学生带着任务有目的地上课，并
在课堂学习中不断获得完成此任务所必须的知识、能力、技能等.
3.借助多媒体辅助教学，形象、生动，使课堂容量相对增加，给学
生提供更多的语言实践机会，有利于语言综合运用能力的提高。
3三．说学法
本课的教学操练点谈论的话题是地理知识，学生都有了解，
再加上现在的中学生思维能力较强，但注意力容易分散。对英
语普遍感兴趣，但有很大的不稳定性。因此，本课采取独立呈
现,综合操练的方式,让学生逐渐理解消化。在本课教学过程中，
在注重启发引导的同时，更要注重教学方法的灵活性，激发学
生学习的兴趣，让学生乐于接受，易于接受。
