Write an email of advice.

I’m sorry to hear that...
I can totally understand how you feel.
You asked for my advice, and here are some thoughts.

First, I think you could... This will help you...
Second, why not...? By doing this, you can...
Also, it might be a good idea to... because...

I hope my advice is helpful.
Don’t worry too much. I’m sure things will get better.
Let me know how it goes. Good luck!

You should ... →  I strongly advise you to ...
You can ... →  Why don't you ...? / Why not ...?
Remember to ... →  It's a good idea to ...
Don't forget to ... →  If I were you, I would ...
You'd better ... →  It's helpful to ...

By doing this, you will be able to...
This way, you can...
I believe this will help you...
The reason is that...
Not only will it..., but it will also...

I know exactly how you feel.
It’s completely normal to feel that way.
You are not alone in this.
I have every confidence in you.
Things will definitely look up.
Just give it a try, and you might be surprised by the result.

Subject: Some Advice for You
Dear Tom,
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling stressed about your coming exams. It's totally normal to feel this way. I'm writing to share some advice.
First, make a clear study plan. Write down what you need to review each day, and this can stop you from feeling lost. Second, why not try some sports? A short run after school can clear your mind. Also, don't keep your worries to yourself. Talk to your parents or teachers. They have been through this and can give you useful tips.
I hope my advice is helpful. Just do your best, and you will be fine. Write back soon!
Yours,
Li Hua
Subject: You Are Not Alone!
Dear Tom,
I've just read your email and my heart goes out to you. Hearing that you're losing sleep over the exams really made me worried. Believe me, I've been there, standing at the same crossroads of anxiety. Here are my suggestions.
If I were you, I would start by reminding myself that your worth is never defined by a single exam paper. Then, let's get practical. Break your study tasks into small, manageable pieces. For example, tell yourself, "In the next 25 minutes, I will fully focus on this one page." What's more, don't shut your family out. Last time I felt down, a simple cup of warm milk my mom handed me was enough to pull me back together. Their quiet support is powerful.
Tom, exams come and go, but your health matters most. I have every confidence that you will find your pace again. Let's weather this little storm together.
Yours,
Li Hua
