Unit 5 的重点并非让孩子真的下厨房，而是学会把一个过程讲清楚：先准备什么，再做什么，最后得到什么。做饭是最直观的场景，但这些表达同样可迁移到实验、手工和日常操作。

一、食谱有两张“清单”

第一张是材料清单，回答What do we need?；第二张是步骤清单，回答How do we make it?

材料不是越多越好；步骤不是句子越长越好。读者能照着做，才算讲清楚。

二、祈使句：食谱里的“行动语言”

食谱和操作说明常用祈使句，动词直接开头：Wash the potatoes.、Mix the eggs.、Add some salt. 主语 you 被省略了。

否定时用 Don’t + 动词原形：Don’t add too much salt. 这比 Not add … 自然得多。

一个实用检查法：每个步骤先圈出动作词。若每句都有清楚的动作，过程就不容易散。

三、顺序词不是装饰

容易混乱的说法	更清楚的表达
Cut the tomatoes. Heat oil. Add them.	First, cut up the tomatoes. Then, heat some oil. Finally, add the tomatoes.

First 开头，Finally 结尾，中间可用 Next / Then / After that。顺序词帮助听者在脑中“看见”动作。

四、感叹句：把“好吃”说得更有感觉

课文中的 What an amazing smell! 和 How delicious the dish looks! 分别遵循两种结构：

不要混成 How a delicious dish!。判断诀窍是：感叹的核心若是名词，用 What；若是形容词/副词，用 How。
