2. take part in / join / join in 考场固定用法
take part in + 大型活动（sports meeting / school activity） join + 团体/组织（join the team / join the club） join in + 正在进行的小活动（join in the cheering）
3. practice & practise

五、南京中考适配｜运动会主题满分范文
题目：My Unforgettable School Sports Meeting
Autumn in Nanjing is cool and comfortable, and our school held the annual sports meeting recently. It was one of the most unforgettable experiences in my junior high school life.
I took an active part in the 4×100-metre relay race. During the practice days, my teammates and I kept training hard after school. We faced tiredness and difficulties, but none of us wanted to give up.
On the day of the race, all of us rushed forward with all our effort. Our classmates stood by the playground and cheered for us loudly. Finally, our class won a good prize.
This sports meeting taught me a lot. It tells me that success never comes easily. It requires perseverance, courage and good teamwork. Winning is not the only goal. The process of trying and growing is more valuable.
I will keep the sports spirit in my mind and face future challenges bravely in my study and life.
