Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in (5分钟)
1.Greeting & Review
◦ 教师与学生问好后,快速复习节日句型:When is Children’s Day? 学生回答:It’s June 1.

◦ 教师展示儿童节派对图片,提问:What do you usually do on Children’s Day? 引导学生用 I... 回答,自然引出本课主题——Danny的儿童节派对。
Step 2: Presentation (15分钟)
1.Learn new words
◦ 出示对话场景图,教授 early, party, bring, music, song, story 等词汇,结合动作帮助理解(如 sing songs, tell stories)。
2.Listen and read
◦ 播放课文 Look, listen and read 音频,学生跟读,模仿语音语调。
◦ 逐句讲解对话:
◦ 1: Danny, why are you up so early? Today is June 1. It’s Children’s Day. We will have a party.(学习询问早起原因)
◦ 2: Happy Children’s Day, Danny! Thanks, Smart! What should I bring to the party? Fruit? Cakes?(学习祝福与询问带什么物品)
◦ 3: No, Danny. Take me, please. Why? Because I can play music, sing songs and tell stories...(学习 Why/Because 问答)
◦ 4: Happy Children’s Day! Let me sing a song for you!(学习派对祝福与活动)
◦ 分角色朗读:一组扮演Danny,一组扮演Smart,感受对话语气。
Step 3: Practice (12分钟)
1.Read and answer
◦ 学生独立完成课本 Read and answer 问题,小组内讨论答案:
◦ Q1: What do Danny and his friends do for Children’s Day? → They have a party. Smart sings a song for them.
◦ Q2: Why does Danny bring Smart to the party? → Because Smart can play music, sing songs and tell stories.
◦ Q3: Do you like Smart? Why? → 示例:Yes, I like Smart. Because it is helpful and can make people happy.
◦ 邀请学生分享答案,教师纠正并补充。
2.Read, search and choose
◦ 学生完成信息匹配练习:
◦ Thailand: Children’s Day in Thailand is on B (the second Saturday in January). On this day, children can go to parks, zoos and many other D (places) for free.
◦ Spain: Children’s Day in Spain is on A (January 6). The three kings give children C (candy) on Children’s Day.
◦ 核对答案后,小组内用 Children’s Day in... is on... 句型介绍不同国家的儿童节。
Step 4: Consolidation & Extension (5分钟)
1.Role-play: Plan a Children’s Day party
◦ 两人一组,模拟Danny和Smart的对话,讨论派对要带的物品和活动:

◦ B: We can bring... I can...
◦ 邀请几组学生上台表演,教师给予鼓励评价。
