译林版六年级下册Unit 1 The lion and the mouse Story time 教学目标 知识与技能 1.在图片和老师的帮助下,学生能读懂故事; 2.在老师的帮助下,学生能表演故事。 3.能听、说、读: sharp、weak、large、strong 情感态度 1.通过预测故事激发学生读故事的兴趣; 2.通过阅读故事,引导学生认识到多一个朋友多一条路。 教学重点和难点 1.教学重点:在图片的帮助下听懂、读懂、理解绘本故事,同时体会角 色心情的变化。 2.教学难点:培养学生体会角色心情变化,并表演故事部分情节。 学生情况分析 学生具备初步的运用英语进行听、说、读、写的能力,他 们喜欢生动有趣的方式,乐于和别人合作学习。因此本节课的设计以 学生为中心,按学生身心发展规律与兴趣特点设计语言活动,以激发学 生的学习兴趣。 教学准备 PPT课件、Flash动画、故事绘本、动物头饰等。 教学过程 4.1第二学时 4.1.1教学活动活动1【导入】I. Leading-in 1. Lets chant. T: I say big . S: I say small, big small, big small, T:I say short . S: I say tall, short tall, short ,tall. T:I say strong. S:I say thin. strong, thin, strong, thin T: I say sad . S: I say happy .sad, happy, sad, happy. T: Guess who is coming? Now listen(播狮子的声音文件) S: A lion, a mouse. 【设计意图】通过课前chant,激活学生的思维,并通过谈话导入今天 的故事学习。 活动2【讲授】Watch the Story Watch the Story I. Pre-watching T: What do you think of the lion? S: big, strong, bad, tall. T: What do you think of the mouse?S: small, thin, short, sly. 2. Watch and predict T: Are they good friends? Ss: No. T: Why? (师在PPT上出现三张图片。) The teacher explains and acts. Then the teacher teaches the phrase: become friends, too small, go out. T: Are they good friends? Let’s go on watching. T:Look ,the lion is trapped. Who can help him? (播到狮 子被网住时停。 ) S1: The cat grips the net. S2: The tiger pulls down the net. S3: The bear has sharp teeth. He can cut the net. T: Let’s watch. Who can help the lion? Now you know the mouse helps the lion. Are they good friends? Ss: Yes. T: Why?(师在PPT上出现两张图片。) The teacher explains a nd acts. 【设计意图】通过预测故事,激活和提供必要的背景知识,激发学生的 阅读兴趣和动机。整体感知,保证了故事的完整性。 II Post–watching1 Teach the phrases. They are good friends. What happens to the lion? Look, the lion is trapped. Who helps him? But how? Teach “sharp, sharp teeth”. The mouse is happy. You should read like this. 【设计意图】培养学生学会有感情地朗读,体会故事角色情感。 2 Imitate the story. What happens to them? Let’s watch again and imitate it. The mouse is very scared. Please r ead like this. Ask some students to imitate the sentences. They can go to find their good friends to practice and work in pairs. Then act it out.. 【设计意图】文本很长,学生自由组合选一幅图进行表演,降低难度, 符合学生的认知水平并紧扣主题。让学生自选好友,自选图片进行表 演,给学生自主权利,激发学生的表演兴趣和学习主动性。 III. Summary 1.Today, we learned a story. Its name is---. Retell the story with the help of the key words together. The lion looks down upon o thers. But the mouse helps the lion. So Where there is a friend, there is a way.2 The mouse is small, but he can help the lion. What do you want to say to the mouse? S1: You are smart. S2: You are helpful. S3: You are brave. What do you want to say to the lion? S1: Lion, don’t look down upon others. S2: Everyone is helpful. 【设计意图】让学生猜题目,培养学生阅读能力。借助板书,在老师的 帮助下复述故事。通过这个故事的学习,引导学生说学生用心感受老 鼠虽小,却乐于助人的品质。同时渗透德育教育。 IV. Extension. The lion is saved. He is happy. One day, he met othe r small animals. What are they talking? Maybe he met an ant/a cat/ a hen. Please work in groups of four. Make dialogue and writ e down on the card. Then ask them to act it out. Stick the cards on the blackboard.【设计意图】让学生发挥想象力猜测狮子在被救之后,如何对待其它 的小动物。学生把已学的知识运用对话中,引导学生创造性地使用语 言。 活动3【作业】Homework 1. Retell the story. 2. Try to write an end of the story. 【设计意图】有梯度的作业布置,尊重了学生的个性差异。续写故事 为学生发挥想象力搭建了平台,既培养学生的思维,又激发学生的学习 兴趣。
